I also wrote this piece to serve as a writing sample for summer internship applications. For this particular press release, I was challenged with introducing a "light, two-wheeled steerable machine propelled by human power"-- also known as a bicycle. I really enjoyed writing this story as I feel it pushed my writing abilities. [PDF download]
Special Olympics North Carolina Advertisement
I created this advertisement for an assignment in my Public Relations Writing class, which I took during the Fall 2010 semester. This course, while extremely demanding and time-consuming, has been one of the most invaluable classes I've taken as a PR major. We were given an assignment at the start of class with only 45 minutes to complete them before "deadline." It was excellent practice in getting us prepared to work under pressure. [PDF download]
